Technohippies are a breed of their own. They are not malicious, but only interested in the way things work. They have a broad wisdom of many different technologies. Ignorance and hatred is looked down upon by the technohippy. The technohippy embraces the environment and will do as much as they can to protect it and help it flourish. All in all, a technohippy is a philosophically-open eccentric geek.
I see myself as a TechnoHippy due to the fact that I love to work with computers and electronics (better at the former, trying with the latter) and that I am very environmentally oriented. I am a member of the Green Party, democratically helping to develop policies and volunteering with the Party website. I also have an organic garden to supply us with fresh fruit and vegetables, take care of food scraps and help offset our carbon consumption.
I work as a freelance web/application developer through my company WebToday, and the parent company Kiwinewt.Geek is my way of using the funds generated to invest in green technology and donate to tree planting programmes/etc.
