I, Kiwinewt, am a TechnoHippy.

Technohippies are a breed of their own. They are not malicious, but only interested in the way things work. They have a broad wisdom of many different technologies. Ignorance and hatred is looked down upon by the technohippy. The technohippy embraces the environment and will do as much as they can to protect it and help it flourish. All in all, a technohippy is a philosophically-open eccentric geek.

Soap Nuts Review

Posted by kiwinewt on 22 November, 2009

A while ago I was given a bag of soap nuts (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sapindus). I have just finally gotten around to making up some liquid soap from them. So I managed to get off work early today and got the frost damage sorted. It wasn’t as bad as I first thought – just had to get rid of the tomatoes. I moved the boxes around so they are up against the north-facing end of the garden – in front of the herb garden [...]
